With extensive experience managing security for critical infrastructure, Tyler has successfully led security operations to safeguard high risk sites and ensure compliance with rigorous standards. Additionally, Tyler held the position of project operations manager within a project company (Project Co), overseeing the delivery and on-going management of key public infrastructure assets, including schools, police stations, a children’s hospital and a nuclear training facility.
This unique combination of hands-on security management and project operations leadership equips Tyler with a comprehensive understanding of both frontline security challenges and the complexities of large-scale public infrastructure projects. Tyler leverages this insight to provide practical, risk based security and risk advisory services that align with project delivery goals and stakeholder expectations.
In addition to his public infrastructure experience, Tyler served for 7 years as an Auxiliary Police Constable with the Toronto Police Service. In this role, he supported frontline officers across a range of community and operational duties, gaining firsthand exposure to the dynamics of urban policing and crime prevention.
This experience gave Tyler unique insight into how security systems, procedures and prevention strategies can deter crime and keep communities safe.
Having seen the direct impacts of poor design and physical security gaps on real-world incidents, Tyler brings a frontline, informed approach to advising clients. His work is grounded in both operational realities and technical expertise, helping organizations implement practical, effective security strategies that help communities become safer and more secure.
